Virtual Gayla 2020
Description
The Gayla is different this year, but Pride is a constant.
This October 31, Out Boulder County, in partnership with Community Foundation Boulder County, is honored to continue producing the one-of-a-kind Gayla event supporting our LGBTQ world and those that love us.
We’ve gotten creative in hardship. Knowing that the face-to-face world is a bit on pause right now, we’ve arranged an evening for you and your special guests, including:
-
Food by Denver Chef Elise Wiggins of Cattivella fame
-
Dessert by Walnut Cafe
-
Wine by True Story Wine (VIP receives Pinot Noir and General Admission receives Riesling) and bottles of Tito's Vodka to spook up your cocktails for the evening.
-
Entertainment by our host, the iconic Mrs. Eda Bagel
- Music and special message by the legendary Melissa Etheridge. (Limited VIP guests with tickets will spend time in an intimate Zoom session with Melissa. Buy now.)
-
All guests will be part of Melissa’s musical set recorded specifically for this evening.
-
Meals and wine will be delivered to your door, or may be picked up on 10/31 at the Boulder Pridehouse. Preheat your oven and relax into what will, without doubt, be a Halloween unlike any other.
-
And a fabulous LIVE auction (Details coming soon!)
Most importantly, be prepared for a new level of virtual engagement and quirkiness.
You will be on camera in small groups to help replicate the sense of belonging that has been so successful and authentic during past events. Dust off your gowns and tuxes, your witch hats and your wizard robes, and be prepared to embrace the new friends you will make in this most surreal of times, all while helping us reach our $50,000 goal in matching grants.
We will be having a drawing for an amazing prize. Entries are $25/each with no limit to the number of times you can enter. This year's prize is a 2020 Specialized Turbo Vado 3.0 Step-Through E-Bikefrom University Bikes valued at over $2500.
Out Boulder County and Community Foundation Boulder County’s Open Door Fund exist today because of how hard people like you fight for us. In turn, we will always be in your corner. We look forward to seeing you this October 31st!
